Comberton Baptist Church is a vibrant community of people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life.

During the Covid-19 pandemic the church remained very much alive and active even though many of our face-to-face activities had to stop. A lot of what we did, including Sunday morning services, moved online. Now many of our in-person events are starting up again. Our events diary is up to date and if you would like details of how to get involved in any of these activities, particularly those on Zoom, please get in touch.

If you need any help at this time please do get in touch, even if you are not a regular part of our church family.

Reopening our Buildings

As covid restrictions begin to ease we are able to reopen our buildings and some of our groups are able to start meeting in person again. To ensure that we keep everyone as safe as possible many of these activities will look different to the way they did before and for many of them it will be necessary to book in advance. You will find all the details of how to do that here on our website - simply click the links below.

Sunday Service - on Sunday 25th July we are resuming in-person live services in the building at 10.30am. This service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. No need to book but we will maintain distancing and mask wearing. Singing is allowed.

Energize - our Sunday group for primary-aged children meets from 10.30-11.30am. Booking required.

Young People - our young people are going to meet up a couple of times before the end of term as well as continuing their online sessions. Booking required.

Bumps and Babes - opening on 30th June with a session for new parents before opening for all pre-schoolers on 7th July. Booking required.

Listen to last Sunday's sermon

Keith Tarring concludes our pre-recorded online services with a sermon on the importance of gathering together as Christians.

Series notes and past sermons can be found on our Listen Again page. Sermon notes and discussion points are available from the Home Group page.

At Comberton Baptist Church we seek to be an authentic community of disciples, becoming more like Jesus - walking in step with God, alongside each other and seeing lives transformed.

Everything that we do and say is shaped by our seven core values. We commit ourselves to be:

  • Loving
  • Biblical
  • Spirit-led
  • Prayerful
  • Welcoming
  • Missional
  • Servant-hearted

You are welcome at CBC whether you are a lifelong Christian or just starting on your journey.

Grace and Peace
