There are many parts to the Church and many people taking part who make Comberton Baptist Church such a special place. Below are the teams that lead and serve CBC in Comberton and the local area.

Minister
Revd. Keith Tarring started as our full-time minister on 1st January 2014 after 10 years at Camrose Baptist Church in North London. As well as serving at CBC, Keith is actively involved in the community. Keith, his wife Su and their three children live in the church manse in Comberton.

Deacons
Deacons are elected by the Members to represent and serve the church. As well as overseeing church operations they also take care of practical matters such as buildings, finance, administration and resourcing.
Along with the Minister and any Elders, the Deacons are the legal Trustees of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Comberton Baptist Church.

Children
Our Children's & Families' Worker, Su Tarring, is responsible for our work with children here at CBC along with their families. Su is helped by a brilliant team of enthusiastic and experienced volunteers who help with Energize and other events we put on throughout the year. Young People
We currently do not have a youth worker but we do have a dedicated team of volunteers  overseeing the young people's work here at CBC (yrs. 7-13). Activities include Sunday morning groups, trips, EDGE community youth club and more. Our young people are also involved in WCCYM - West Cambridge Christian Youth Ministries. WCCYM provides our young people with regular discipleship groups, monthly youth services, an annual weekend away plus opportunities to attend Satellites in the summer and more.

Administration
Doris is our church administrator and is the main point of contact for all general inquiries. The office is usually open from 9.15-11.15 Monday to Friday - but please check the church calendar for any changes.
