Oasis Holiday Club - Thursday 29th August 2024
Each August we hold an Oasis Holiday Club. This is a whole day event with a hot lunch and finishing with tea and a cake. There are a range of activities during the day for people to choose from as well as a short service and an interesting themed talk.
This year Oasis Holiday Club is on Thursday 29th August 2024. The day starts at 10am and runs through to 4pm. To book a place you can click the button on this page and print off and return the form along with payment.
Oasis Tea - 4th Thursday of the month
On the fourth Thursday of each month (except August and December) we meet in Comberton Village Hall for Oasis Tea.
Oasis Tea and our Oasis Holiday Club in August are run by a team from St. Mary's Comberton, Comberton Baptist Church and the local Catholic Community.
We start with a cup of tea and cake, whilst tackling a paper quiz. Don't worry if you can't get all the answers, I'm sure those on your table will be able to help out. There are no prizes, it's just a bit of fun.
Then we will have a short service which includes listening to a well-known hymn, a short prayer, and a talk. This year our talks are exploring well-known places such as The Eden Project and Stonehenge.
Then there is more tea and cake whilst you chat and finish off the quiz.
